FIELD :   New Tribes Mission:  Cochabamba, Bolivia

WHAT :   Mike translates the New Testament into the Ese Ejja language & disciples leaders. Cher is a nurse & oversees the medical ministry providing health care to over 800 Ese Ejjas. They are currently on furlough.

WHY :   Many of the people are sickly; nearest hospital is 6 hours.

DO YOU KNOW: Mike graduated from Columbia Central (Brooklyn, MI). Cher is a MK from Bolivia.  They met at Language School in MO & married in Bolivia. Their 4 children were born in Bolivia. They love Jackson County & furlough in the Spring Arbor area.  Cher has written over 50 songs for church.
