FIELD : International Baptist Church: Bekkestua, Norway

WHAT :   We are working with the International Baptist Church near Oslo. We are currently working on developing new Norwegian ministries along side of the current English ministries. We have started 2 Norwegian Bible studies, a teen youth club and a Wednesday night teen Bible discussion group. We are in the process of translating counseling brochures.

WHY : Norway is a country of 4.7 million people. Our goal is to reach people in Norway for Jesus Christ through, first, developing relationships with them; second, by being able to openly discuss Biblical issues with them, and third, by ultimately working on planting independent churches in Norway.

DO YOU KNOW: Did you know that Norway actually has milder winter weather than Indiana, Michigan or Ohio (even though Norway gets a bunch more snow.)
