Mission Statement
We believe that the young people of Skiff Lake Bible Church are an integral part of the church. SLBC youth ministries exist to aide parents with their responsibility to help their youth grow in Christ and become fruitful members of the congregation and the community. We share the responsibility to help them grow spiritually, emotionally and socially. Without this balance and a sound foundation in Christ, we'll have fewer strong and committed leaders for tomorrow.T4T: Sunday Night
T4T stands for "Teens for Truth"
T4T teaches young believers about Christ, His Word, His church and about living as a part of His family.
We focus on studying the Bible and discovering what it means. We learn biblical answers to practical questions,
we memorize Scripture to back up our answers, and we come to understand BIG Christian words - and the difference
they make in our understanding of God's Word.
ALIVE: Wednesday Night
ALIVE: Always Living in View of Eternity
ALIVE provides a place where teens can have fun and fellowship with others their own age.
It provides a structure around which they can form their value systems under
Christian guidelines. It also provides a non-threatening environment where teens
can bring their friends to learn about Jesus Christ.
Theme Verses:
So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and ALIVE TO GOD in Christ Jesus. (Rom 6:11 ESV)
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together WITH CHRIST - BY GRACE you have been saved - (Eph 2:4-5 ESV)
